New Hope Community's All Staff Training Day features a key note speaker and a host of workshops which afford all staff members an opportunity to re-connect and refuel. The agency recognizes the Direct Support Professional workforce as the integral backbone to the successes achieved. In such, measures are taken to enhance and empower. June 29th, 12noon to 4pm: Staff and their family members are invited to celebrate the start of summer. Fun and fesitivities are ensured for the little ones and fantastic dishes prepared by co-workers is an annual treat along with the "Domingo" barbecue chicken. Dancing, softball and volleyball are also on the roster of the event.

The Berkowitz Cup: great golf and great company for a fantastic cause! Proceeds for the Wallace Berkowitz Cup go directly to the NHC Foundation which enhances the lives of individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Every year New Hope Community takes the time to both honor and recognize staff members who have been with the agency for three, five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty years and more! Our family is growing and with that, additional accolades are presented to staff members for the dedication and committment with presentations to a Deirdre McCoy Award Recipient and a Direct Support Professional with the Maxine Belson Humanitarian Award. Employee and Program of the Year is also unveiled at this affair.
