Leisure Services
New Hope Community is committed to putting life into action. This particular motto is enacted by the agency's Leisure Services Department which choreographs recreational activities and leisure opportunities both on campus and in the greater community in the evenings and on the weekends.
The Department consists of leaders (specialists) in the arenas of fine art, horticulture, athletics, music, performing arts, a state-of-the-art horseback riding program and a seasonal swimming pool.
Staying active mentally, physically, spiritually and socially is imperative to well-being and overall quality of life. New Hope Community promotes creative exploration in self-expression and takes great pride in the quality experiences afforded to those we support.
The Leisure Services team is an exemplary resource to those in our care and to the staff members who advocate on behalf of their personal interests. From camping to film-making, growing vegetables year round to competing in basketball, no boundaries are drawn.
